Sharon, Steven, Ingrid & I went to see a 20/20 cricket match between NZ & England. This was actually the first live cricket match I have ever been to (believe it or not). NZ lost, but we had a good time!
I took Sharon & Steven to the airport to fly back to SA. Their time here went by in a flash and it was sad to see them go.
I did the Great Lake Relay in Taupo with Baldwins, Ingrid's company. We ran about 160Km with about 16 of us doing different legs. I did 10.1Km and it was graded hard as it had the second hardest hill to run, one that seemed as though it would never end!? Because of the hill, I thought that I would not be able to break 1 hour for this distance, but I was very happy with my 57 mins in the end. I remember running 56 mins for the Daily Dispatch fun run in East London many years ago - I was much younger and it was mostly flat...
All the people left in the van would scream and shout encouragement to the person running their leg, which was not only fun, it really helped.

On the way back from the run, we stopped at Huka Falls as it was not far out of our way and worth seeing.
